Project Roudnická St. – 1 bedroom apartment

This project began with an apartment that was in a truly substandard condition—outdated, impractical, with a 1+1 layout (51,8 sqm) and a number of other deficiencies. Despite initial concerns about its location on the top floor of a panel building, a detailed evaluation revealed that the building boasted a well-functioning and financially sound homeowners’ association, a new façade with insulation, a roof in excellent condition, and meticulously maintained common areas. These factors gave the final green light to proceed with the transformation.

The result is a modern 2-room apartment with a focus on design and practicality. By reconfiguring the layout, we created a spacious bathroom, a storage room, and a utility area for a washer and dryer. A custom-built kitchen with all appliances seamlessly connects to the living room through a unique kitchen island, which offers additional workspace, storage, and a comfortable dining area. Designer lighting and timeless elements, such as glass blocks, lend the interior a distinctive style. The aesthetic highlight of this apartment is the industrial-inspired wall that enhances the kitchen and dining area. This is not an imitation but the authentic touch of exposed concrete—a detail that grabs attention at first glance.

The building, located in a quiet part of Střížkov, provides excellent transport connections, ample parking, and a pleasant range of local amenities.

The apartment immediately captivated its new owner, who chose it as their personal home. And that, for us, is the greatest reward—creating a space that brings joy and comfort for years to come. This project marks another step in our journey to revitalize old and underutilized properties.
